This patch applies to "Man from the Council" (c) 1987 Pumpkinsoft/Tynesoft -
1 disk. Thanks to Mad-Matt for sending the original.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Slave requires WHDLoad V10+
- Game requires 512k chip mem (+390k other memory for preload option)
FEATURES:
- Full load from HD
- Protection removed
- Empty DBF loops fixed
- All files can be compressed to save space (FImp, Propack etc)
- RomIcon, NewIcon and OS3.5 Colour Icon (created by me!)
- Quit option (default key is F10)
These crappy old Pumpkinsoft games have some shocking delay code in them
which I have tried to emulate as much as possible. However, in places the
game speeds up and slows down when there is a lot happening on screen.
Sorry about this but it's a nightmare trying to fix them all! You should
also make sure you have caches disabled!
