This patch applies to "Joe Blade 2" (c) 1988 Players Software - 1 disk.
Thanks to Christophe Lennard, Christian Sauer and Tony Aksnes for sending
the originals!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Slave requires WHDLoad V10+ and RawDIC
- Game requires 0.5Mb chip mem (+0.4Mb other memory for preload option)

- All required keypresses can be bypassed by pressing the joystick fire
button so CD³² owners can play (greetings Riempie!)
- On the title screen: - Up and fire to view the plot

- Superb RomIcon, NewIcon and OS3.5 Colour Icon (created by Frank!), a nice
box icon (by Christian) and 2 Exoticons (from http://exotica.fix.no/)
- Quit option (default key is 'F10')
The loader in this game was incredibly badly written! It accessed a
hardware register using the wrong value and would get stuck on track 14
most of the time. If it happened to read sector 1 off the track, it would
continue to load, but otherwise it would just sit in a loop reloading that
track over and over. There is also no checksum information on the disk, so
I have programmed the imager to read the track until the checksum it
expects appears. If you have a slightly knackered original, it may take a
lot of retries to read the data so the retry count is set to 25. Please be
patient and if your disk doesn't seem to work, contact me and I will send a
working disk image to you.
Because the original may not be read reliably, this patch also supports the
common warez compact disk featuring Joe Blade 2, Hellfire and the Twilight
Zone demo.
