This install applies to "Mega Mix 2" © 1990 Royal Amiga Force.
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+1.8 MB for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- All OS stuff patched
- Access fault fixed
- Interrupt fixed
- DMA settings fixed
- Decruncher (ByteKiller) relocated to fast memory
- DMA wait in replayer fixed
- Byte write to volume register in replayer fixed
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
This was just a quick patch I made this morning. Not much code here,
focus is on the music. Some quality samples are used here.
Few problems had to be fixed, interrupt acknowledge was done with
a direct call to a ROM routine, replayer had the usual bugs and
register a6 wasn't loaded with $dff000 so demo wrote to "random"
Enjoy the music disk from HD and Have a nice summer everyone. I'm off to
the birthday party of Mad/Still.
