Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and RawDIC to be in the path.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.6 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD (real files!)
- Blitter wait added
- Self-modifying code fixed
- Line drawing routines fixed (wrong BLTCON0 settings, x2)
- Random gerator recoded
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x10)
- Byte read from $dff000 fixed (wrong raster wait)
- Interrupts fixed
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Created the RawDIC imager for this demo just for fun yesterday at work and
today I made the real patch in a few hours.
Code is pretty good, there was some self-modifying code to fix, the random
generator routine used in the end part to calculate the star coordinates
relied on the raster beam position and produced bad results on fast machines
and has been recoded, the line drawing routines used in the mandelbrot part
used wrong BLTCON0 settings and had to be fixed and there also were the usual
Bplcon0 color bit fixes too.
The patch uses real files and if you want to save some space you can pack
all the files in the "data" directory with any crunchers supported by
WHDLoad (FImp, ProPack etc.).
The title picture was shown while loading the first module, in this patch
it is shown for 5 seconds and can be skipped by pressing either mouse button.
Enjoy the demo from HD, special greetings to Crazy Crack whom I met some years
ago at Revision.
