| Summary | 0006816: use 8K MMU pages | ||||||||||||
| Description | Maybe this would give a performace advantage. It would be good to know if it is worth the effort. Check could be done on a 68030 system where MMU can be disabled. An app is needed which uses much memory and causes many ATC faults. It must provide some measurement to show the difference. Cons: - not good for resload_Protect* because would cause more emulated faults - WHDLoad globals would be enlarged because alignment - would waste some memory because current memory sizes are aligend to 4K | ||||||||||||
