Have you asked the existing patch developers if they're happy for you to update their work before doing these? Some are fine with it, others would prefer you ask. |

I will refrain from commenting on any issues related to source code licensing and/or copyright until three independent law firms have conducted an in-depth analysis of this specific topic. By the way, after looking through the open tickets, I get the impression that this site is practically dead. Do you know why? |

Most of the devs who worked on patches for the site were doing so 20+ years ago, and tend to only work on them nowadays as personal lives permit. Some have retired from doing so, and a couple (Mr. Larmer, StingRay) sadly passed away. For my part I try to keep on working through requests on a continuing basis now. |
