| Summary | 0006599: Not able to access DH0: files in Workbench 1.3 slave with reqtools file requester | ||||||||||||
| Description | The slave mounts a volume called WHDLoad: (device DH0:). When I use reqtools.library with https://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/DiskMimic, the reqtools file requester is not able to access the drive. Ram: is always showing in the drawer string. Putting WHDLoad: or DH0: will cause screen to blink as though it is not accessible. | ||||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Please try to access files from WHDLoad: with reqtools file requester to see if the volume can be accessed. | ||||||||||||

Can you please try if this is fixed with latest install 1.10? |

Yes — it is working. Thank you so much. It looks like WHDLoad version 20 is still in beta but was able to find it. This install and path fix opens up a lot to getting old 1.3 software to work in whdload env. while main the computer has AmigaOS3.x installed. Note that I was demo-ing this in local club a year or so ago and all were impressed to see that this could be done with WHDLoad — so this WHDLoad install of WB13 needs a bit more broadcasting especially now that that the path issue is fixed! :) Curious, are the serial and parallel ports open/available in this env.? |

Thanks for testing. Yes, serial/parallel should work normally. |
