It is not a problem of my own motherboard.
All revisions A1200 2B have trouble recognizing the PAD CD32 through lowlevel.library.

Just make a test with the special tool on any motherboard REV 2B
http://aminet.net/package/util/misc/JoyPortTest [^]

Tests also confirmed by another user with the same motherboard 2B.
Thank you very much for your attention

That's very interesting! I have 2 motherboards, 2B and 2D, and never understood why joypad buttons didn't work properly (even with the board off) where they worked all right on my CD32. I'll try to find some way to fix this by software if possible.

Noticed something similar on my Commodore Amiga (don't know the exact revision). With the lowlevel. library enabled the AGA version doesn't detect the button with my Multimega adapter (Mega Drive Pad to CD32 mapping, RetroHQ), and without the lowlevel.library the fire button triggers "pause". The OCS/ECS slave of the game has no issues with the Mega Drive buttons in CD32 mode. Very strange. I'm using an ACA1233n, but i don't think this is the issue here.

Actually i take i back. Disabling the lowlevel.library works with the AGA version and a CD32 ( button profile) adapter too. Amiga is so strange at times...

I have reassembled the Slaves with builtin lowlevel which uses WHDLoad joypad read routine. Can you try if this changes the behavior?

The AGA version works now fine with all CD32 buttons when lowlevel.library is enabled. Thanks again, Wepl! I assume the ECS version was never patched of CD32 multi-button support (but it works fine too).

Yes, ECS Slave uses kick13. Would be needed to switch to 31 to allow lowlevel.library support.
I will update the install package.
