That install applies to "Project X" (Special Edition) © 1993 Team 17
It supports original (and back2roots) floppy disk and all CD32 version.

It requires:
 - WHDLoad 17+ and RawDIC
 - Disk game: 512 Kb ChipMem & 512 Kb OtherMem (+2.9 MB OtherMem for preload)
 - CD32 game: 768 Kb ChipMem & 640 MB OtherMem (+4.0 MB OtherMem for preload)


Features:
 - SSP & USP moved to fast memory
 - Invalid copper-list fixed (SnoopOCS)
 - Decrunch ATN! files via WHDLoad
 - Load/Save hiscores to HD
 - Access fault removed in level 2,3,4 ('GET READY' screen) (v1.1)
 - Some delays before playing removed (v1.2)
 - In tooltypes, CUSTOM1=1 for trainers (v1.2)
 - Quit with F10

 Version 1.6 (16.07.2023):
 - Reassembled with the latest CD32 buttons read routine
 - Install script updated

 Version 1.5 (18.12.2013):
 - 2nd button didn't work correctly with 2-button joystick. Bug introduced
   in slave 1.3. Thanks to solaris104 for reporting the issue #2895.

 - Hiscores loading routine was broken in disk version
   (thanks to Retroplay for the bug report)

  - No need OSEmu for CD32 version

  - New install script

 Version 1.1 (31.08.2001):
  - Load/Save high scores to HD automatically, to floppy disk in Option menu

Note:
For trainers, use CUSTOM1=1:
 - Unlimited lives
 - Collision ennemies off
 - Skip level with 'return' key
 - All levels are enabled in menu
 - The hiscores will not be saved :)

Cheat Mode:
To skip levels during the game press and hold down the right mouse button
and then hit the [Escape] key, the screen will then turn black.
Now with your finger still on the right mouse button press the [Return]
key and you will be warped to the next level.


CD32 version doesn't use OSEmu.400 file anymore and all files in data dir can
be packed as data with Propack or Imploder.

CD32 joypad buttons:
 BLUE - weapon select
 PLAY - pause
 GREEN - display on/off  hiscores & weapons panel
 YELLOW - display on/off hiscores panel
 REVERSE+FORWARD - skip level (if CUSTOM1=1 is set)
 REVERSE+FORWARD+PAUSE - quit slave (pressed at least 1 sec.)
