DESCRIPTION

    This is v5.0.0 of a hard drive installation package for the
    Software Projects game "Jet Set Willy II".


REQUIREMENTS

    Requires an original copy of the game.

    Requires version 44.10 or later of the standard Amiga "Installer"
    program or a compatible equivalent.

    Requires version 18.0 or later of the WHDLoad package by Bert Jahn.

INSTALLING THE GAME

    Extract all files in the archive to your system and double click
    on the "Install" icon, then follow the instructions given by the
    Installer program.

    The game will be installed to a directory you select on your
    hard drive. You will be alerted if installation fails for any
    reason.


PLAYING THE GAME

    Open the game drawer created during installation and click on the
    "JetSetWilly2" icon to start the game. A number of trainer and other
    options will be displayed by WHDLoad which you can select.

    These options may also be set using the CUSTOMn tooltypes on the icon.

    CUSTOM1 = 1       : Infinite Lives
    CUSTOM1 = 2       : Invulnerability
    CUSTOM1 = 4       : Infinite Air in Manic Miner Demo
  
    CUSTOM2 = n       : Set number of items to collect 1-162

    Add the appropriate CUSTOM1 values together to activate multiple trainers.

    Infinite Lives and Invulnerablity trainers apply to both Jet Set Willy II
    and Manic Miner Demo when activated.


    On some configurations, the menu and game can run too fast and have
    control and graphical glitches. The Menu and Game Speed Fix options may
    resolve these issues.

    CUSTOM3 = 1       : Menu Speed Fixes
    CUSTOM3 = 2       : Game Speed Fixes

    Add the appropriate CUSTOM3 values together to activate multiple options.


    The following keys may be used while the game is running:

    F1                : end current life

NOTES

    v5.0.0 was originally created in 2002, or possibly 2005, but the binary on
    the WHDLoad website does not match the sources of either of those versions
    so it's something of a mystery what was actually released.

    The 2024 release adds further fixes over these earlier versions and updates
    the install to WHDLoad 18.
