Short : HD-Installer for Civilization

That install applies to "Civilization" © 1992 MicroProse
It supports ECS (855.01/03/04 EN, 855.01/04 DE), AGA (855e.01 EN/DE) and CD
version.
(registered users only)


It requires:

ECS version
-----------
 - WHDLoad 16.1+
 - 0.5 MB ChipMem & 0.5 MB OtherMem (+1.8 MB OtherMem for preload)
 - An installed A500 Kickstart 1.3 image.

AGA version
-----------
 - WHDLoad 16.1+
 - 1.0 MB ChipMem & 0.5 MB OtherMem (+4.3 MB OtherMem for preload)
 - AGA chipset and a 68020 processor (at least)
 - An installed A1200 (or A4000) Kickstart 3.1 image.
 - XFD package must be installed to unpack main executable


Version 1.1 (14.12.2009) by Psygore:
 - Supports original/cracked german AGA version (thanks to René K.)
 - Files will be depacked while installing now
 - DMA wait fixed
 - Music replay routine will be relocated in fastmem (ECS & AGA german)
 - All files can be packed as data with Propack or FImp
 - New install script

Version 1.0 (10.04.2004) by Psygore:
 - Nice Color/NewIcon (created by me) and Exoticon included
 - Manual protection removed
 - Executable relocated in fast memory
 - Caches enabled
 - Screen fade in/out removed
 - Pointer flicking removed
 - Manual and hints included
 - Quit with '*' (PrtSc)

The kickstart image must be located in the directory "Devs:Kickstarts" and must
be named "kick40068.A1200" (or kick40068.A4000). The  image  can  be  extracted
from a A1200 or A4000 with tools like  'GrabKick' or similar which can be found
on aminet.
If the image is of wrong version or altered in any way WHDLoad will quit with a
appropriate requester.
Additionally the file  "kick40068.A1200.RTB"  (or kick40068.A4000.RTB)  must be
installed in the same directory as the kickstart image.  It can be found in the
archive "util/boot/skick346.lha" on aminet.
