This install applies to "Megademo" © 1990 Cult.
Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.9 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- OS stuff emulated (DoIO, Forbid, Permit etc.)
- Self-modifying code fixed
- Blitter waits added (x4)
- Uninitalised table pointers fixed (x2)
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x27)
- Wrong Bplcon0 settings fixed (x7)
- Illegal copperlist entries fixed (x537)
- Illegal write to $dff06c fixed (x2)
- Illegal Bplcon2 settings fixed
- Wrong check for right mouse button fixed
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x9)
- Byte write to volume register fixed (x5)
- CPU dependent delays fixed (x2)
- ButtonWait support for loader part added
- Interrupts fixed
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Another requested patch here, spent quite a few hours yesterday and
today to create it. I'm not impressed with the code, lots of bugs, some
serious (accessing table pointers without initialising them, wrong code
to set blitter D-modulo etc.), some not so serious.
ButtonWait is supported for the loader parts, use it if you want to listen
to loader tune. If enabled the loader part will be shown until either
mouse button has been pressed.
I could have easily made this patch using real files (I actually coded
a RawDIC imager to rip all files) but as the disk is almost full I decided
to make this patch using a disk image.
Enjoy the demo from HD.
