| Description | GameVersion: LHA Verson 3.5 and 3.7 fail - Running under WinUAE and WHDLoad SlaveVersion: Unknown - Newbie, but happy to answer questions Unable to save games to HD or Floppy (F5 functions, all options appear to work), however no file is written to HD or Floppy, and there is no file to load on next reboot. Now this may be ME! (I am fairly new to all this), but the game is installed and runs perfectly otherwise. I have tried both HD and Floppy SO 2 HD's DH0: and Games: Monkey is installed in Games:SecretOfMonkeyIsland. Folder is writeable, but no savegame files appear. you have to use NOWRITECACHE option or always use quit key (and not reboot/switch off) when you're done with the game. Are you sure you did that? |

Will try that this evening. Interestingly, it will load a save game added to the data folder. |

Hurrah!! SO it is now working with the addition of "NOWRITECACH" - Might be worth adding that to the DOC ! More info, in case it is useful - The quit option is irrelevant, as the data is written to disk immediately, whilst game is still running. The redirect to a central SAVE folder also works. So thank you very much. Consider this ticket closed. |
