On my Amiga 1200 (PCMCIA NE2000 clone card, Blizzard 1230/IV accelerator card), the game locks-up if launched from Workbench and from a shell, if started in an initial CLI window. Adding the 'nofilecache' keyword fixed it. In addition, I needed to stop networking when starting it from Workbench. I found that it's better to start the game before loading Workbench and any extra applications, so I've put a test into S:User-Startup to run it if I type a keyword.
