Description | I took more than 3 minutes to load or save a gamestate - every time I play the game. | ||||||||||||
Steps To Reproduce | On my A1200/030 the WHD Install works perfectly - on my A4000 I've always the same bug. Every time when I load or save a gamestate the Amiga freezes for 3-5 minutes with screenflashing till the gamestate is saved. | ||||||||||||
Additional Information | I use OS3.9 with the MMUlib/MUTools from thore and MCP1.48 to patch the workbench title. The rest of the system is in my opinion a "normal" Amiga OS3.9 PPC System. Poseidon and Genesis are deactivated when I start a WHD Game. Second point - the installer does not work with the ECS Version, but in the first step the installer ask for AGA or ECS version. Hallo Wepl, ich konnte das Problem "lösen". Der Fehler mit dem Speichern tritt nur beim ersten Mal auf - dafür aber bei jeden Slot. (1-5) Hat man mal auf z.B Slot 1 einen Spielstand gespeichert, werden alle weiteren Spielstände die man auf 1 speichert auch tatsächlich schnell und zuverlässig gespeichert. Von daher ist der Bug eigentlich kein großes Problem. Danke :) Schöne Grüße AMike |

Das ist kein Bug, sondern liegt in der Funktionsweise von WHDLoad begründet. Wenn noch keine Spielstände vorhanden sind, müssen sie erst angelegt werden und dazu sind OS-Swaps notwendig, das dauert einige Zeit. Da das kein Bug ist, mache ich hier mal zu! :) |
