Hello,
made a fresh install using the IPF image with ID 3050.
Game is starting, intro is starting, but if you press a mouse button or a joystick button,
intro is not quitting, just restarting.
Is there a hidden key to quit intro? :-)

The intro can be quit by pressing space.

The intro is just restarting after pressing SPACE.
Same happens pressing mouse or joystick button, intro is just restarting.

Using the old 1.0 slave, pressing keyboard, mouse or joystick will quit the
intro.

Working! :-) You can play now, but...

First part of the intro (the drops & Thalion logo) can be now quit with mouse, joystick & space.
Second part of the intro (Shambers of Shaolin logo) can be only quit with space.

This should be mentioned in the readme to avoid further questions. :-) Thank you.

I tried using the slave 1.2 above but I am still having the same issue, cannot quit the intro with Space or any other key. I am using an A2000 w/EC020 WHDLoad 18.6, OS 2.1.

Hi,

Please try the attached Slave (It's a 1.21 version).

With that slave it works.
 
With Space Key, You can Quit the intro and the second part of the intro.

I tried it with :

1) my A500 ACA500Plus 68000 WB3.1 WHDLoad 18.9 Beta
2) my A1200 GVP1230 Turbo+II 68030 @ 40 Mhz Wb 3.1

It was tested with SPS IPF 3049

You just need to update the slave with v1.21 attached slave

Hi Pascal, I tried with the new 1.21 Slave above but the same problem. The Space bar does not bypass the second title screen.

Sometimes I get an "Illegal Instruction $10" crash after the first title screen. I am using an NTSC A2000 so I tried the PAL tooltype but same problem.

I also tried using WinUAE and 2.04 ROM and same problem.

Confirming netman's report, and the issue is specific to NTSC machines with KS2.0x
PAL KS2.0x - Works
NTSC KS3.x - Works
NTSC KS2.0x - Intro repeats even with PAL WHDLoad option. Reproducible on WinUAE only when Cycle-Exact is enabled.

Ok further tests shows it wasn't that simple afterall...
NTSC A1200 68020 KS3.1(rev 40.68) - Works
NTSC A600 68020 KS3.1(rev 40.63) - Intro repeats

I can not reproduce this at all, no matter what I try. Can you please try the attached "ChambersOfShaolin_V200.slave" with SPS 3049 (it doesn't work with any other version yet) and tell me if the problem still occurs?

Still same behavior, made a fresh install from SPS 3049.
Tested on WinUAE 4.10.1 Quickstart config: NTSC A600 1mb+4mb, 68000, KS 37.350.
Workbench 40.42, WHDLoad 18.9.6601.

Works when switched to PAL.

The intro is no longer repeating, but the game stage refuses to load, it seems like it wants to read the floppy.

Thanks for testing, the current patch only works for the 2 intros, anything else has not been patched.
Can you please do me a favour and test the "ChambersOfShaolin.slave" I have attached on the 15/05/2020? Because the current fix (it's a bug in the intro code) in the V2.00 slave is almost exactly the same as that in the old slave, so I don't understand how the intro can repeat in the slave from 15/05/2020.

Yes it is repeating with the 2020-05-15 slave, only v200_2 gets past it.

Hi,

I try a new installation from Your latest WHDLoad install pack.

But I Obtain an error with both IPF (3049 and 3050) and RawDIC 6.1.

Both the same ... error on track 2.

Please could You verify it ?

I am a stupid Boy ... I try to install IPF Files converted in HFE files under WINUAE.... I'm tired.

Hi Pascal, I confirm that the latest slave fixes the repeating intro problem. I can now play the game...thanks!
I might be worth nothing in the ReadMe that the fighters stored on the image are corrupt and cause many issues if used. It is necessary to create a new fighter.
