But I have just finish to test the latest ECS Slave 2.5 (both of them)
On my A500ACA500PlusBut I just test the latest ECS Slave 2.5,
1)With the slave ECS same issue then v2.4 black screen no logo or something else I can wait 5 min and nothing..only black screen But QuitKey works
2)With the slave ECS_1Mb_chip it doesn't work correcty... I must wait 2 min between start and the logo Chaos Engine 2 that after nothing after black screen without else (no music or something) only QuitKey works.
I have try too both ECS on my A1200 (§With ECS GAME Version of Course)... both File ECS v2.5 works correctly...
Personnaly, for my ACA500Plus, I return with Slave v2.3... with that one it works correctly with my ACA500Plus.

Hi,
After multiple try I found some to resolve problems about Your latest slave 2.5 512 k or 1MB.
If I downgrade my ACA500PLUS (Only 68000) at @7MHZ in that case your both lastest slave works correctly on my system...With slave 2.3 it was good with @14 MHZ
But all other WDHload games works with standard (@14mhz default by factory).
Did You changed something about speed processor between 2.3 and 2.5 ?
I tried the same @7 MHZ with Gods Game but nothing change with slave 3.0 only 2.3 works on my ACA500Plus.

You could check Chaos Engine 2 slave with EXPCHIP and report back
I'm very sorry nothing rings a bell and I don't have a ACA500PLUS to test (I just have an old A500 with 2MB memory that I never use) but I may buy one :)

Don't be sorry, You make a wonderfull works....
I have tried many toolTypes on Your both latest slaves v2.5(normal slave & 1MB Slave)
I tried, EXPCHIP & EXP24BIT (With Message Can't allocate EXPMem) they doesn't start the game...(ONLY 68000)
Tried too EXPLocal (no message about ExpMem) the game start but only black screen.
In all cases QuitKey works.
Maybe, as I wrote You Yesterday about Gods Game, can you have a look about some informations with ACA500 Memory on wiki aca500Plus from Icomp (Creators of ACA systems)
They said : If you are a programmer, or just interested in how the ACA500plus works internally, you can find lots of information here: ACA500plus_registers

I Remember You My config:
A500 REV 6A ECS (512+512) WITH AN ACA500PLUS @14 MHZ (ONLY 68000 CPU WITHOUT OTHERS ACC. CARDS) WITH CONFIG CHIP 1M + 7MB FAST BUT WITH SPECIAL CHIP OPTION VBRMOVE (SPECIFIC ACA500POLUS WITH 68000 FOR QUITKEY USAGE).

Yes, now it works perfectly on my A500 ACA500PLus.
Tried on A1200 & under WINUAE without any problems
