Update for OCS version was fixed with Back2Roots version.
I'm not original author of the patch and I miss original OCS
images, so PLEASE, tell me if i didn't corrupted anything (if
you're able to lose life without errors, it works ;)
Sound problem of previous version was caused by wrong access fault
fix. Game uses sample adresses like '$80086ef4', which causes problem
on any cpu better than 68020. Mr.Larmer fixed adress to '$00086ef4',
but game uses 'uncompatible' adress for setting lenght of sample, so
all sounds played only for while. I kept original adress, but when
program access to sample, adress is fixed.
I also updated install script and cuted the images. You don't have to reinstall
whole game, but if you want to optimize hd installation, do it ;)
BACK2ROOTS.ORG VERSION
www.Back2Roots.org, famous Amiga site, published OCS version with
legal permission from Vivid Image. It's basically cracked version,
but it was very easy to adapt it, I accept the legal status of this
version and more (warez ;)) people can play it. I don't plan to do with every
WHDLoad game on b2r.org but maybe you will find more surprises ;)
To install B2R version, copy all three disk images in installed Second Samurai
directory and rename them to Disk.1, Disk.2 and Disk.3. I recommend to unpack
images back to disk and install them with install script if you have problems ;)
