Author: Codetapper/Action (codetapper@hotmail.com), ICQ: 26051687
Uploader: Codetapper/Action (codetapper@hotmail.com)
Version: 1.0
Type: game/patch
This patch applies to "Moonshine Racers" (c) 1991 Millennium - 2 disks.
Thanks to Carlo Pirri for sending the original!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Slave requires WHDLoad V10+.
- Game requires 0.5Mb chip mem (+1.8Mb other memory for preload option)
FEATURES:
- Full load from HD
- Manual protection removed
- Loads and saves high scores (unless you cheat!)
- Blitter waits added (x407)
- Buttonwait tooltype supported for title picture, intro music and maps
- Trainer (press Help to toggle the F10 level skip on/off)
- RomIcon, NewIcon and GlowIcon (created by me!) and 2 Exoticons (taken
from http://exotica.fix.no)
- Quit option (default key is '*' on the numeric keypad)
CHEAT MODE:
- Taken from Sweet Cheater by Keith Krellwitz!
- Start the game and wait until the screen has faded in completely and
the car ignition sound is playing. Type "CHICKEN MASALA" (including
the space) at a steady pace, making sure that you press each key and
release it before pressing the next one. If you make a mistake,
retype the whole thing again.
If you have typed it correctly, the built in abort key 'F10' will now
change into a level skip. You will advance directly to the shop
sequence but gain no money from the previous leg.
If the game displays the game over picture when you press 'F10' then
you didn't type it at a steady pace without making a mistake, or you
typed it in a little too early. It is a little tricky this cheat!
When you are driving around a sharp bend and you start to skid off the
road, ignore the temptation to steer around the bend and instead just
accelerate forward. You will come out of the skid and regain control
of the car and now you can continue to turn.
If you use the Help trainer key in the game, the border will flash green
when it is turned on and red when it is turned off.
The 407 blitter waits is not a mis-print, this game decided a single "nop"
instruction was good enough for all blitter operations :)
Greetings to Carlo, Frank, C-Fou, Chris and the entire WHDLoad team!
