This install applies to "Heimdall 2 Aga/Ecs/CD32" (C)1994 Core Design.
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path. Both can be found in
the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed program requires 2 MB ChipMem and 1 MB OtherMem for AGA/CD32 version.
1 MB ChipMem and 0.5 MB OtherMem for OCS version.
It can be quit by pressing * (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
If you have problems with this installation please try and get a newer
version of this package from the WHDLoad WWW-Page. If that doesn't help try
some Tooltypes like NOCACHE, NOAUTOVEC, NOVBRMOVE, NOMMU, PAL or NTSC. If
that also fails, please inform the author via the Bug-Report-Form which
can be accessed on the WHDLoad WWW-Page.
The game requires an installed A1200 Kickstart 3.1 image for CD32 and AGA version
and A500 Kickstart 1.3 image for ECS. The kickstart images must be located in the
directory "Devs:Kickstarts" and must be named "kick40068.A1200" or "kick34005.A500".
The images can be extracted from a A1200/A500 with tools like 'GrabKick' or similar
which can be found on aminet. If the image is of wrong version or altered in any
way WHDLoad will quit with an appropriate requester.
Additionally the file "kick40068.A1200.RTB" or "kick34005.A500.RTB" must be
installed in the same directory as the kickstart image. It can be found in the
archive "util/boot/skick345.lha" or "util/boot/skick343.lha" on aminet.

The LOAD option in the title screen read the both file:
"H2_save0.dat" and "h2_save1.dat"
and the LOAD/SAVE option during the game read/write the file:
I have process thus to convert your old save game in a new simple savegame file
indeed just copy both file from your save disk in data/
use LOAD option in the title screen
and SAVE option in the game to convert the old game in 'Heimdall2.save'
BUGS with original game:
The original game Aga and Ecs are bugged and you can't finish it in french language.
(bug: when you meet AMBERT for the second time=> no text=> no turtle)
but the save file in my install script is a English SaveGame after this bug that
that I have forced in French langage

to swap between the English and French langage, You must edit the save game file:

and the game is in french...
