This patch applies to "Daley Thompson's Olympic Challenge" (c) 1988 Ocean -
1 or 2 disks. Supported: - Original release (2 disks - Hendrik "Henri" Lange)
- Hit Squad re-release (1 disk - Carlo Pirri)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Slave requires WHDLoad V13+
- Game requires 512k chip mem (+1.8Mb/800k other memory for preload option
depending on which version you have)

- 2 versions supported
- Loads and saves high scores
- Rob Northen encrypted boot protection removed
- SSP and USP relocated to fast memory
- Added automatic joystick waggling option (toggle with the Help key)
- Blitter waits added (x12)
- Rom accesses removed
- Cheat mode added (set CUSTOM1=1 to enable the cheat below and to allow you
to qualify even if you fail an event, or hold the joystick fire button
down while loading - screen will turn green if it's active)
- RomIcon, NewIcon and OS3.5 Colour Icon (created by me!)
- Quit option (default key is 'PrtSc')
CHEAT MODE:
- Once the game has loaded and the high score table starts bouncing
around the screen, type "HINGSEN" and then press Del. The high score
table will now show "DEMO!!!" under the "TEN BEST SCORES" text.
Now type "-J." (where the hyphen is on the numeric keypad and the full
stop is on the main keyboard). Press Del again and the high score
table will now show "MEGA DEMO".
You can now use the function keys to select the ten events, or view
the end sequence:

The next cheat requires an Action Replay cartridge or similar device.
To automatically qualify for the next event no matter how badly you
did, change the word at $103a4 from $6e18 to $6018.
The original release of the game comes on 2 disks and has a loading picture
between each event. The Hit Squad re-release dropped the pictures to squeeze
it down to one disk.
