This install applies to "Vectordemo (Vector all Times)" 1991 Tristan Lorach.
This install requires WHDLoad to be in the path.
It can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.3 MB OtherMem for preload)
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- System stuff patched
- Interrupt and DMA settings fixed
- Interrupt fixed
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
This patch was requested yesterday on EAB and today I quickly made
it as I have always liked this demo, it was way ahead of its time!
Back when everyone else made demos with simple cubes Tristan Lorach
had quite complex motions and a really good vector engine already!
The code is quite good (as expected) so creating the patch was not
much work at all!
The demo is known as "Vector All Times" and "Natural Movements" but
I do not think that any of these names is correct! Hence I just
used "Vectordemo", unoriginal, yes, but at least it is not any
made up title!
Enjoy the demo from HD, it is still very entertaining to watch the
vecor guy running around and seeing the birds fly. :)
