This install applies to "New Age" © 1993 Ram Jam.
Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and RawDIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.8 MB for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD (real files!)
- All decrunchers (CrunchMania) relocated to fast memory
- OS stuff patched
- Keyboard routine fixed
- Interrupts fixed
- Volume bug fixed
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Good music disk here with somewhat unusual but nice design. Patched it
yesterday and created the install package today when I came back from
work. Code is quite clean but had one major bug concerning the volume
setting. Instead of setting the volume to maximum the value that
was stored at $40 was used to set the volume. Very lame bug
(coder used move.w $40,volume instead of move.w #$40,vol) that of course
meant volume was set to 0 when memory was cleared. In the disk version
it only worked because the vector at $40.w points to a ROM routine
so the value used for the values was $fx (i.e. >64) and the replayer clipped
it properly. Except for this bug there were no major problems.
The demo can be downloaded here:

Enjoy the music disk from HD, it features some really nice tunes.
