And yet another classic here. I actually started this patch way
back in November 2011, did 95% of the work in 2 days and then
completely forgot about it. Yesterday I just wanted to check
what's left to do for the Mega Demo 3 patch, found my almost
finished patch for Mega Demo 2 and finished it off in a few
hours.
Despite its age the code in most of the parts isn't that bad but
there were some major bug, the demo would only work correctly
on Kickstart 1.2 machines as some of the parts crashed on 1.3.
Can't remember the reason for it as it has been almost 3 years that
I fixed it but at least it is fixed! :) Some parts accessed the ROM
to the "random" data, this had to be fixed too. And then there were
quite a few buggy copperlist with uninitalised values which had
to be fixed too!
Anyway, as I did most of the work about 3 years ago I can't really
remember all the details so just enjoy the demo from HD!
There is a small problem in part 3 (USA demo) with the scrollers,
so far I couldn't find a proper fix but I will update the patch once
I fix this problem. Since it's not a major problem I don't want to
forget about this patch for next 3 years I'm releasing it like this.
This patch is dedicated to ATOM who coded a few nice parts for this
demo and unfortunately decided to end his life back in December 2010.
