This install applies to "Spaced Out Vol. 1" © 1991 Magnetic Fields.
Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.9 MB for preload)
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- All OS stuff patched
- Decrunchers (ByteKiller) relocated to fast memory and error check added
- Interrupts fixed
- Write to read only register fixed (x2)
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x10)
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x2)
- ButtonWait supported (see below)
- Source code included as usual
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Another nice music disk by Magnetic Fields which I patched while enjoying
my Sunday morning coffee. :)
Spook's code is, as usual, quite good so not much had to be fixed, there
only were some interrupt and Bplcon0 color bit problems. The code in
the main part even checked the return value of the ByteKiller decruncher
which isn't that usual. Speaking of the ByteKiller decruncher, I have relocated
all decrunchers and added error checks where necessary so WHDLoad will quit
with an appropriate error message in case of any problems.
During loading a tune is played, if you want to hear this tune completely you
can use the ButtonWait tooltype, you will have to press space to return to
the main part then.
You can download the demo here:

Enjoy it from HD and have a nice weekend everyone.
