This install applies to "Overload" © 1993 Jetset.
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 512k ChipMem (+880k for Preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- Keyboard handler added
- Possibility to choose tunes with cursor keys/return added
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x4)
- Interrupts fixed for 68040/60
- Decrunchers relocated to fast memory
- CUSTOM1 tooltype can be used to skip the intro
- 3 NewIcons (all created by me, if you have better icons feel free to send them)
- Source included
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Here's the patch for Jetset's "Overload" music disk. I always liked it,
not so much because of the tunes but because of the design in the
European Top 20 style, a show that was aired on MTV back in
the early 90s when this demo was released (and I was still young,
time really flies...).
The code is nice and clean, I only had to fix the usual DMA wait
wait bugs in the replayer.
I also added an option to skip the intro, use CUSTOM1=1 to enable it.
Since I always found the mouse control somewhat awkward I also added
keyboard control to the tune selector part, to choose a tune press
cursor up/down and return/enter to load the tune.
You can download the music disk here:
Enjoy this really great music disk from HD now.
