This install applies to "Stateline" © 1992 Complex.
This install requires WHDLoad and RawDIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.7 MB for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD (real files!)
- Access faults fixed (x3, trashed a4 base register)
- Byte writes to $dff043 fixed (x5)
- Blitter wait added
- Interrupts fixed
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x7)
- ButtonWait support for loading screen
- Reset at end of demo patched to quit back to DOS
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Short but stylish demo, patched most of it just for fun this morning
at work. Once I came back home I patched a few more parts, fixed the
byte writes to $dff043 in the line routines and added support for
the ButtonWait tooltype. If ButtonWait is enabled the loading screen
will be displayed until left mouse has been pressed.
Patching the demo wasn't that much work, except for some access faults
which were caused by a trashed a4 base register in the vertical blank
interrupts no major problems had to be fixed. Since the demo only
consists of a few files I have made this patch to work with files
instead of a disk image.
The demo can be downloaded here:
Enjoy it from HD.
