This install applies to "Atomix Crack Intro" © 1989 Vision Factory.
This install requires WHDLoad to be in the path.
It can be found in the WHDLoad package.
The intro requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.1 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- OS stuff patched (AllocMem)
- DMA and interrupt settings fixed
- Interrupt fixed and recoded
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x8)
- DMA wait in replayer added
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Excellent and total classic crack intro with great tune by
This one really needed a patch as the vertical blank interrupt in the
Suntronic replayer used direct ROM jumps which meant it wouldn't work on
OS 2.0+ machines. Other than that the code is quite good, Vision Factory
could indeed have chosen a worse group than Fraxion to code an intro
for them. :)
Nice effects, neat code (the font is pre-rotated in the init part), great tune
and nice design which stood the test of time without any problem.
Enjoy this classic intro!
