This install applies to "Amy Putt Crack Intro" © 1988 Trilogy.
Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad to be in the path.
It can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed intro requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.1 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- Copperlist termination fixed
- Access faults fixed (x2)
- Interrupt fixed
- DMA wait in replayer fixed
- Byte write to volume register in replayer fixed
- OS stuff disabled/patched
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Old but not too bad Trilogy intro which is still enjoyable in my opinion.
The rather simple code didn't have that many problems, the set/clear dot
routines accessed "random" memory which had to be fixed, the replayer had
the usual volume and DMA wait bugs and the copperlist wasn't terminated
correctly. Not too bad considered the time this intro was released, it could
have been much worse!
The scrolltext was loaded from an external file, this has been patched too
of course.
Enjoy this intro fom 1988, there's more to come! :)
But now I'm going to ride the MK1 as the weather is excellent, not often
I can do this in November, most probably it will be the last time this year
I'm taking the old lady (she turned 31 in September) out for a ride. :)
